Her artistic approach arises from a fascination with process and metamorphosis—seeking new ways to elevate ideas, presenting fresh artistic perspectives, and expanding the possibilities of visual storytelling. Her layered compositions often transform older artworks into new forms or weave mastered techniques with bold experimentation. Horne’s background in fashion emerges through tactile materials, stitched collages, and figurative subjects, balancing intricate detail with conceptual depth and merging personal experiences with cross-cultural inspiration drawn largely from Italian and Japanese traditions.
