Speak No Evil

Speak No Evil
Multilayered resin, acrylic, pigment, and gold flakes on cradled wood panel
36 × 26 in. (1.5 in. depth)
Finished edges, wired to hang
Speak No Evil, this piece unfurls in vivid violets, magentas, and molten golds, where hand-painted, vine-like linework twists through the surface like exposed nerves of a hidden landscape. Intuitive floral forms bloom and fracture, their crimson petals echoing both lips and petals, suggesting a silenced voice emerging through abstraction.
Layers of resin alternately diffuse and magnify the pigments beneath—some passages softly matte, others glass-smooth and gleaming—so that drifting drips, luminous cells, and pockets of suspended gold catch the light and shift with each angle.
